My Thursday #GCweek2014 talk is “We Are Daughters of God” by Elaine S. Dalton.
I had read this talk some time ago. It is in this talk that I found my saying “What e’er thou art, act well thy part” that I end most of my blogs with.
This talk helps me remember not only “who I am” but “whose I am” On the days that I remember that “I” am God’s daughter and that He loves me and knows me as such, I just feel better! And when I “feel” better, I usually act better.
I think my favorite paragraph in this talk is:
As daughters of God we are each unique and different in our circumstances and experiences. And yet our part matters—because we matter. Our daily contributions of nurturing, teaching, and caring for others may seem mundane, diminished, difficult, and demeaning at times, and yet as we remember that first line in the Young Women theme—“We are daughters of our Heavenly Father, who loves us”—it will make all the difference in our relationships and our responses.
because I need to always remember just how very much my Heavenly Father does know me and love me!!
Hope you all have a Terrific Thursday!! (((HUGS)))
Remember: What e’er thou art, act well thy part!!
