Good Saturday morning to you!
Today’s spiritual principle is “unconditional love”. This is “loving others with no conditions put on that love”. I did not use to be able to do this! All of my love had conditions. Today I am so much better at loving unconditionally! I’m not perfect at it, and I still need to continue to practice it, but, I am getting better and better.
My mom taught me unconditional love as a child. I knew it then and I know it now, I just forgot it for a while as a grown up. It is amazing to me how many lessons of my mothers I forgot when I go “grown up” and completely selfish and self-centered. I thank God every day for getting me to my wonderful 12 step program! It has helped pull me out of most of that self-centeredness and is allowing me to live a much happier life! It also allowed me to go back to church and get closer and closer to Heavenly Father there!
I still have this silly upper respiratory virus, my nose is stopped up and running all at the same time. But, all will be well!! Not much on the agenda for today since I don’t feel well. I’m going to try to get to a baby shower this afternoon at 2pm. Other than that, I’m going to stay at home, relax and try to let this virus run it’s course.
