This was me this past Sunday at church. It was so good to feel even feel like going, much less feel like taking my 3 grandchildren. Plus, I had done grocery shopping at 3 stores the prior day and made a pot of the creamy tomato soup that I love and a cauliflower green bean … Continue reading What a difference eating right is making!!

A great plant based recipe I found
I found this really good homemade Vegan tomato soup that I made the other. This meets both my Whole food and plant based parts of my new eating lifestyle. It was also delicious. I got the recipe from MyDarlingVegan.com. I used the coconut milk instead of the cashew cream because I was afraid I wouldn't … Continue reading A great plant based recipe I found
New to me
On August 9th I had a Dr. appointment. During this appointment the Dr suggested that I try out a "no animal protein diet"! He showed me a web sight showing the research results. He said that the word "cure" is being used with fibromyalgia. I told him that I would consider it. He did state … Continue reading New to me
Tuesday 6/25 gratitude
Today is my middle grandson's 7th birthday. He is a wonderful, silly, loving, ticklish, caring little boy, who loves cheese, orange soda, any kind of ball and yo-yos. My daughter and her children live with me and I am the caretaker for my 3 grandkids. For someone who has been disabled with fibromyalgia for 20 … Continue reading Tuesday 6/25 gratitude
My review of “Careful vs Casual”
Careful versus Casual is the talk given at the April 2019 General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by Becky Craven, second counselor in the young women general presidency. I liked this talk because it helps me look at myself and see where I am in my life and my conversion. … Continue reading My review of “Careful vs Casual”
Review of “Behold the Lamb of God”

John, called the baptist, called Jesus the Lamb of God. "It is instructive that this long-prophesied forerunner to Jesus did not call Him … Continue reading Review of “Behold the Lamb of God”
My testimony of the LDS Family Services Addiction Recovery Program
"I have a testimony of the LDS Family Services Addiction Recovery Program. The very first thing that the program did for me was make me feel a part of the Gospel when I was coming back to church after over a decade of inactivity. The program has helped me develop a closer relationship with heavenly … Continue reading My testimony of the LDS Family Services Addiction Recovery Program
A tribute to Debbie Caple
My sister, Debbie Caple, died on February 23, 2016. What a blow to our whole family. She was 46. Grief is hard to explain. The visual that I think I agree most with is of waves. Some days is feels like the grief is just washing over me, and others if feels less "enveloping". I … Continue reading A tribute to Debbie Caple
You are loved!!
I have been having a lot of trouble finding things to blog about the past 2 weeks. Which is very weird because I am a talker. I always have conversations running through my mind. I can be given a subject that I know even just a little about and I can talk about it. I … Continue reading You are loved!!
A week of studying repentance
I am so grateful for the ability to repent. I spent quite a few years doing so many things that I later regretted. There was so much freedom from guilt and shame in the repentance process for me.
